Cost of the watches worn by Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo in viral clip revealed

A clip of Conor McGregor and Cristiano Ronaldo sitting side by side at a boxing event went viral for a number of reasons.

The first clip went viral because McGregor appeared to be ‘ranting’ while Ronaldo looked a bit uncomfortable listening to him.

Shortly thereafter another video went viral, and this one had a completely different vibe to it.

Right after the ‘rant’, McGregor compared his watch to Ronaldo’s, at which point the 38-year-old soccer star finally smiled and appeared to relax.

This provided some context for the other clip that’s doing the rounds on social media.

Both Ronaldo and McGregor appear to be focusing on the Parker vs Wilder match, and both are in the same pose.

Perhaps not by accident – their pose reveals what they’re wearing.

Spoiler alert, these pieces aren’t cheap.

Both watches are expensive, but McGregor’s one is a lot more expensive than Ronaldo’s.

Conor McGregor is wearing an iced-out Chopard Tourbillon piece in 18-carat white gold adorned with baguette-cut diamonds.

It is quite difficult to find, and it has a market value of around $200,000 – $300,000.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo is wearing a Hublot Spirit of Big Bang with the rainbow colorway.

This one can be had for around $100,000.

The only thing that’s certain is splashing six figures on a watch is a drop in the ocean for Ronaldo and McGregor.

Ronaldo is the highest paid athlete in the world and McGregor regularly features in the top 10 list.

Both have a nine-figure net worth, and it seems it’s just a matter of time before they become billionaires.
