Pharrell Williams seen struggling to park Cybertruck in middle of Miami

Pharrell Williams is the latest public figure to be seen out and about with the new Cybertruck.

Just last week, the “Get Lucky” singer was spotted trying to parallel park his EV pickup outside a Louis Vuitton store in Miami.

The problem is, the influential record producer and musician didn’t get lucky.

In a situation that might feel familiar to many drivers, Pharrell Williams ended up dangerously close to crunching another car.

As is typical in this day and age, the whole thing was caught on camera, leaving no room to spare Williams’ blushes.

According to one bystander, Lil’ Skateboard P spent 10 minutes trying to get the Cybertruck into the space before abandoning the effort and letting the valet take over.

“That truck was never going to fit,” Roxana Gonzalez told Business Insider.

As for how close his got to the car behind – the picture below shows his reaction.

Now the world knows Pharrell Williams needs lessons on how to parallel park.

To be fair to him, though, the Cybertruck isn’t exactly a small vehicle.

It’s slightly less than 19 feet long and around 80 inches wide.

Just as well Williams wasn’t trying to park a Ford F-150 Lightning, as that’s even bigger.

Apparently, Tesla had originally wanted to add side mirrors to the EV pickup, in order to keep the design as streamlined and angular as possible.

Instead, Elon Musk said that drivers could rely on side-mounted cameras.

However, US regulators said drivers aren’t ready to rely solely on those just yet, so Tesla added mirrors.

Pharrell Williams is just one of a few famous drivers who have been attracted to the futuristic vehicle.

His celebrity status and influence are likely big reasons he’s been able to acquire a Cybertruck long before anyone else.

Tesla plans to ramp up production significantly this year, which will put the pickup in the hands of more people outside of employees and celebrities with connections.
