Rapper Kendrick Lamar has recently splashed out on a flash new penthouse and it looks amazing.
In November of 2023, Kendrick dropped $8.6m on a three-floor penthouse in Brooklyn to add to his list of amazing properties around the US.
The Swimming Pools star had been shopping about but decided to go for the pad at the top of a ten-story set of apartments called Pierhouse.
At 3,140-square-foot, it’s certainly not small.
It includes four bedrooms, more than three bathrooms, and a private rooftop that looks across to Manhattan and the rest of New York City.
That’s not a bad view for the 18-foot floor-to-ceiling windows in the penthouse, too.
Seventeen Grammy awards are a sign of Kendrick’s success and buying this property puts him in some pretty cool company as well.
The New York Post reports that Ed Sheeran, Matt Damon, and Amy Schumer are among the big-name celebs to live in the building.
Pierhouse boasts 24-hour concierge services, a fitness center, and even a meditation studio. Imagine bumping into Matt Damon, who once turned down the most amount of money ever offered to an actor, mid-meditation.
Kendrik has spent millions on his houses, which include a place in Bel-Air, Los Angeles, one in Manhattan Beach, another in Calabasas and his first in 2014 in Eastvale.
The musician has never been shy with his lavish purchases, which have included a $1.3m ‘crown of thorns’.
But his new Brooklyn base is really an eye-catcher.
The kitchen looks amazing, with cutting-edge appliances, marble counters, and luxury cabinets.
Meanwhile, the pine floors throughout give it a luxury, stylish look. We love it.
