Unless you\u2019re a long-term fan of Formula 1<\/a>, there\u2019s a strong likelihood you\u2019re unfamiliar with the name, Vijay Mallya.<\/p>\n

Once upon a time, the billionaire owned the Force India F1 team, and was known for living an extravagant lifestyle.<\/p>\n

Mallya\u2019s collection of luxury assets included yachts, private jets, classic cars, and of course mansions.<\/p>\n

But among his most controversial possessions is a $20 million mansion that\u2019s built atop of a 400-foot skyscraper and is a replica of the White House.<\/p>\n

This isn\u2019t a joke \u2013 he actually does \u2013 and it doesn\u2019t look too dissimilar to the concept mansion designed for Cristiano Ronaldo<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the city of Benglaluru in India, the majestic mansion belonging to Vijay Mallya sits at the top of UB City\u2019s Kingfisher Towers, a luxurious project built on the former site of his ancestral home.<\/p>\n

Mallya co-owns the 34-story Kingfisher Towers, which sits on 4.5 acres of land and has 81 units across three blocks, offering ultra-luxury apartments.<\/p>\n

And, as to be expected, the Indian tycoon has saved the best spot for himself.<\/p>\n

Sitting atop the building is a White House replica mansion with its own helipad, wine cellar, gardens, salon, gym, indoor heated pool, outdoor infinity pool, and a host of other luxuries, all with breathtaking 360-degree views of the city.<\/p>\n

The mansion, which spans two levels, is believed to be completely separate from the other units in the tower, and even has two elevators exclusively for Mallya\u2019s use.<\/p>\n

Interestingly, though, reports suggest that Vijay Mallya hasn\u2019t had the chance to step foot in the mansion.<\/p>\n

The construction of the billionaire\u2019s playground coincided with his mounting financial troubles.<\/p>\n

Mallya defaulted on $1 billion in bank loans and has been a fugitive in the UK since 2016, while the Indian government attempts to extradite him to face fraud and money laundering charges.<\/p>\n

As for his F1 team, Force India, even though the name doesn\u2019t exist anymore, some of the team\u2019s assets were bought by Lawrence Stroll, father of F1 driver Lance Stroll.<\/p>\n

Among other things, Stroll revamped Aston Martin, including the AMR team that helped develop the Valhalla supercar<\/a>.<\/p>\n
