A young yachtie took to TikTok<\/a> to reveal how, despite looking glamorous, living and working on a luxury yacht is \u201chard work\u201d.<\/p>\n

She explains that she and five other staff members on board have their own rooms. <\/p>\n

\u201cBasically our job is to travel, clean and serve guests in whatever beautiful destination they want to go to,\u201d she says over footage of her busy day-to-day.<\/p>\n

While she admits that it can be \u201chard work\u201d, she also explains that the role has its perks. <\/p>\n

It certainly looks as much fun as being a submarine pilot<\/a> or flying a private jet<\/a> \u2013 with its enticing salary.<\/p>\n

When the guests disembark, she says that her job enables her to \u201cexplore wherever we are in the world\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u2018Thatyachtiegirl\u2019, real name, Emery, then lists the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and Bahamas as some of the stunning places she\u2019s visited.<\/p>\n

This is demonstrated with footage of her dancing, swimming in the ocean, and meeting some of the underwater locals.<\/p>\n

Emery explains her motivation for going into the industry.<\/p>\n

\u201cI wanted to work and travel right after college,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd this job has allowed me to do just that and more.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a response to one of her follower\u2019s comments saying she wanted to go into yachting, Emery details the necessary qualifications.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll need Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW).<\/p>\n

Plus a medical certification is needed to work on board, called ENG1.<\/p>\n
