His followers say he had been missing for eight months.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am troubled to learn of the mysterious death of Tibetan religious leader Tulku Hungkar Dorjee in Vietnam,\u201d said U.S. Rep. Jim McGovern in a <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepMcGovern\/status\/1910754206945788136\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"\" title=\"https:\/\/x.com\/RepMcGovern\/status\/1910754206945788136\">post on X<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Massachusetts Democrat said the State Department \u201cmust urge Vietnam to do a full and transparent independent investigation.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am troubled to learn of the mysterious death of Tibetan religious leader Tulku Hungkar Dorjee in Vietnam.
