For Vietnam\u2019s younger generation, Nepal\u2019s story is not only a warning, but also a source of reflection and, perhaps, inspiration.<\/p>\n<h3>Social media control<\/h3>\n<p>The protest in Nepal was triggered by the state\u2019s decision to block social media platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and YouTube. <\/p>\n<p>In Vietnam, social media is tightly monitored, with posts taken down and activists punished.
