Sony drives car onto stage using PlayStation 5 controller

CES 2024 in Las Vegas just saw Sony blur the lines between gaming and real-life driving. Sony Honda Mobility president and COO, Izumi Kawanishi, drove the company’s Afeela EV on stage remotely. And he used a PlayStation 5 controller to do it – specifically the PlayStation 5 DualSense controller. The car’s yoke steering wheel turned without anyone sitting behind it.
