Onboard the luxurious 690-foot 5-star hotel for the seas Seabourn Ovation

Seabourn Ovation is one of the most luxurious cruiseliners on the ocean.

While it stretches over 690 feet, it’s designed to feel like you’re chartering a private yacht.

With butler-trained hosts and caviar available on-demand, here’s what it’s like to stay in one of Seabourn’s high-end cabins.

The cruise operator Seabourn has a reputation for being the ultimate way to experience five-star living at sea.

Ovation is one of the company’s seven ships and was first launched in 2018.

It has only 300 cabins for 600 guests, which helps create a smaller, more intimate feel.

For comparison, Allure of the Seas, the ship that’s hosting the Taylor Swift-themed cruise, can hold 6,780 guests.

On this boat, guests are treated in the same highly personalized manner you’d expect on a private yacht.

Instead of having to wait in line for the jacuzzi, guests on Seabourn Ovation will sometimes have amenities like the gym or a deck all to themselves.

The most extravagant room to stay in is the Grand Winter Garden Suite.

It’s a two-bedroom configuration that comes with two verandas, private dining areas, a bath and, of course, a separate entrance for your butler.

Upon arrival on Seabourn Ovation, you will receive a fruit basket, personal notes from the captain and your Suite Host, and a bottle of champagne on ice.

The Suite Host acts as a personal assistant for the duration of your stay and has undergone the same training a butler would.

They’ll provide personalized stationery, organize parties, remind you of your cruise schedules and keep your bar fridge stocked.

Room service is also available, able to deliver anything from a plate of fries to a serving of caviar right to your cabin door.

While you will have to share your Suite Host with 19 other cabins, the service is almost as good as having a private butler.

The cabins hold queen-sized beds, impeccably made every day using high-quality and even higher thread count linens.

Bathrooms have a marble floor, deep bathtub and double sinks.

They even come stocked with custom-made toiletries.

And if you grow attached to the Molton Brown x Seabourn range during your stay, you can restock at the gift shop on your way out.

The spa area has been described by many as better than some spas found on dry land.

With so many amenities, it’s easy to see why some people choose to live on a cruise ship instead of on land.

Alongside the old-school barbershop is where you can get your nails done, a massage, and even a medical consultation.

There is also a casino, club and multiple bars and restaurants on board.

Of course, luxury like this comes at a price.

Just one night in the Grand Winter Garden Suite will set you back $6,000.
