
In early returns on Election Day, political aide and local college board member Patrick Ahrens is leading a field of six in a race to fill the open seat in California’s 26th Assembly District. As of 8:45 p.m. Tuesday, Ahrens is ahead with just over 37% of the vote, while Santa Clara County Board of Education Trustee Tara Sreekrishnan has nearly 25%.
