
CT UAV and TJ Aerospace Joint Venture
CT UAV, a member of CT Group, has inaugurated a joint venture UAV assembly plant in Garden Grove, California, in partnership with TJ Aerospace. The plant commenced operations on September 21, after more than a year of preparation.
Joint Venture Contributions
CT UAV contributes technology, machinery, equipment, and budget while focusing on product development. TJ Aerospace provides the facility, budget, machinery, and existing relationships in the U.S.
Production Goals
The plant aims to produce over 100 UAVs daily, including drones and e-VTOL aircraft. The joint venture, named CTJ, has garnered interest from various customer groups in the U.S., including firefighting units, farms, and schools.
Future Plans
CT UAV aims to combine resources to reduce production costs and enhance competitiveness in the international market. Following the establishment of the first plant in Southern California, the company plans to set up an R&D center on the West Coast and a distribution system in key U.S. states.
Company Background
Founded in 1992, CT Group started in trade and manufacturing before expanding into high technology. The company has been researching UAVs since 2016 and currently operates five UAV plants.
International Expansion
CT UAV has intensified its international activities over the past year, signing a memorandum of understanding to export UAVs to South Korea in August 2025. The company has also tested UAV prototypes in collaboration with Airbility.
Recent Developments
In March, CT UAV announced the development of a drone swarm system for firefighting in hard-to-reach areas. Recently, the company successfully tested the CT Pegas 230 UAV, capable of carrying a 100 kg payload.
Investment Projects
CT UAV is investing in a Low Altitude Economic Center (LAE) in Ho Chi Minh City, with an estimated capital of 6 trillion VND and a floor area of 500,000 m2, touted as the largest in ASEAN.

TJ Aerospace has 20 years of experience in production organization and quality control in the aerospace industry, specializing in manufacturing components for supply chains of companies like Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
