Conor McGregor gifted the head chef at one of his restaurants a brand spanking new Rolex for his 50th birthday.
But, the internet being what it is, some people still aren’t happy.

In essence, some people are criticizing McGregor for being a bit ‘cheap’ by giving his chef the least expensive new Rolex you can buy.
And this, for a man who likes splashing cash as much as McGregor does, is not enough, according to some people.
The watch in question appears to be a 40 mm Rolex DateJust in stainless steel.
The DateJust is indeed one of the most affordable Rolex lines, with brand new watches starting at around $5,000.
People immediately pointed that out in the comments.
“Bro can’t even give him a nice Rolex,” one commenter wrote.
“Why do I get the feeling it’s a Re-gift? You know?… Like Connor found one laying around in his closet and was like ‘I’ll give it to my head chef’,” another one said.
Some people also pointed out that McGregor said “welcome to the Rolex club” when his head chef was apparently already wearing a Rolex.
Be that as it may, a free Rolex is a free Rolex, isn’t it?
